I can't believe it's almost 2009. . .the mind boggles.

In a few hours, I'm off to bikram. I'm pretty sore in the upper body today from my over-zealous workout yesterday. (note to self: no more lattes right before a workout. . .the caffeine made me extra energetic.)

    Today is YogaX. Ahhhh! :happy:

    I'm not much of a partier/drinker (which I shouldn't be because i'm underage :blushing: )...so I carry on my families tradition of doing a puzzle new years eve night while we watch whatever new years countdown thing is on. This year we picked out this really cool fantasy-ish ocean theme that's 1500 pieces. We usually do 1000 and I end up finishing it the next morning...so we'll see how it goes.

    Other than that, we aren't buying any junk food, so late night snacking should be kept to a minimum.

    My mind boggles me sometimes too.

    Went to kickboxing yesterday - teacher made it "extra hard" since there isn't a weights class tomorrow. I told her after class, "I haven't wanted to throw up during exercise in a long time." She took it as a compliment. Also went for a 30 minute walk. Hopefully, husband and I will do the "bike, gym, bike" on Friday.

    For New Year's Eve - we are going to a friends house for dinner - Fondue! - and we will stay up until midnight and such, but I was never much of a drinker. On the Eve or the Day we make predictions for the following year - who will win the superbowl (I almost never pick a team even qualified), what will win best picture, where will you go on vacation, etc. It's a lot of fun reading them the following year. If I have time today, I will type up a list of questions.

    Today, gym and yoga. Husband has a headache, so I'll be going to yoga alone.

    A puzzle sounds fun. :happy: I've been wanting to do one for awhile. Maybe one of these days.

    Today I am going to try to get some more cleaning done and get laundry done. We are are leaving tomorrow to see my family for the weekend. We plan to get out Friday and go to the zoo or something since it will be in the mid 70's! I hope I have the energy to do something. I have been pretty worn out the last few days.
    I will also try to paint some more if I have time.
    I guess that's it. I'll try to check in over the next four days as I have time. Happy New year!

  • My plan for today is just to hang out. My exercise plan is for the same on that I did on Monday. I alternate what I do every other day.

    Going to a friends house to have supper and play cards. A couple of drinks maybe for the new year.
    Not much in the way of exercise here.:sad: I have to find a way to get moving.:sad:

    I went cross country skiing today and burned 900cals! I was so happy! Thats the most I have ever burned in one day! I would have went longer but the rental place didnt have my size of shoes since they were so busy and I got a pair that were too small. By the end of the trip I could hardly ski. Next time I hope to burn 1200! Thats always been my goal! 1200 in one day! I should have the right size shoes then too!

    Tomorrow I start the count for sure! Want to lose my last 30lbs by the end of June! Happy new years everyone!
