Parmesean.. or Romano you have to ask. If your trying to assess the calories before you eat them they are both pretty much the same.

Why is it stupid? It's just a simple question. Maybe they were curious. Who are you to say something's stupid?
    You're just plain rude.

All restaurants grate either parmesan or romano onto pasta at the table.

Limburger, I'm pretty sure. Or perhaps Stilton.

I think it's some sort of aged dairy. Brie, maybe.

It might be best to actually contact the restaurant to get an accurate answer but parmesan does seem to be what most places use.. that I've been to anyways.

HA.HA.HA. You girls are a riot. I was actually asking because my daughter loves it and when I bought parmesan and grated it for her she said it didn't taste the same. I'll try romano next time.

And, since you all think I'm an idiot now anyway, anyone remember this commercial? The tag line was

    "Thank you for your support"

It's an old Bartyles and James commercial for those too young to remember.

Melanie this thread is 12 years old!!!

Not sure if any of the posters are still around and OP' daughter for whom she was asking, must be an adult now.
