How do you kick the BLUES away?

Hi MFPal's,

I've had a rather mammoth week in terms of good eating and exercise (which is good). However, today I just can't seem to shake the blues. I should be feeling vibrant and energetic, instead I'm feeling a little peed-off, a bit huffy and generally feeling a little sour.

I suppose it doesn't help that I hate my job, however I'm working on changing that (one step at a time).
Perhaps I'm missing something from my diet?
Maybe I just need to get a really good nights sleep?

Hell, I'm probably just having a really blue day (we all get them).

So, my question is, when you're feeling down in the dumps, what do you do to cheer yourself back up again?

Ciao,
Picinina

i head out for a run and hit the pavement hard.
crank the music up as loud as it goes and don't head home until the endorphins make the blues seem like a distant memory....

Sex. sigh. no wonder i'm pissy so much of the time!:noway:

I do feel you. Totally. Clean eating and exercise don't make a huge difference in my moods. I wish they did. :frown:

if I am in a very bad mood, I refer to myself in the 3rd person. 'Cricket doesn't like that tv program' it NEVER fails to make me laugh - I feel silly & pretty soon my mood lightens
if that doesn't work, Cricket goes shopping - it's kind of hard to be 'blue' when you're trying on shoes
    boot season is coming up
  • These are great, keep them coming! *jotting down ideas in her head*
