so, i have lost my first 40 pounds! yea me! lol
i bought some new clothes in the sales, mostly size 14 and a size 12 top too! amazing!
i am finally seeing myself as 'curvy' instead of 'fat'
i have curves, i just want to make them a little smaller and more toned
i still have 30 pounds to lose, but am enjoying the journey a little more now that the 'biggest' part is over and i know i can do it
i want to be about 148 for the first time in my adult life and enjoy all the clothes and everything that goes with being healthy and confident
ps its also a little strange for me though as hubby has never seen me this light, i was about this weight when i met him (nice and curvy) so the lighter i get is the best he has ever seen me, does that make sense?

I second that, I feel exactly the same way as you do, lately clothes shopping has become so much fun, I still have a ways to go, I'm about half way there, before I reach my goal weight, but being 36 lbs. lighter than I was over a year ago is great. I think its great to keep hearing all of the little successes on a daily basis from others, it gives me hope, that it can be done. I wish you luck, it's all dowhill from here :happy:0

Good for you!! It's funny that you mention that about your hubby. When I got married (12 yrs ago), I was my *average* adult weight of about 185#. Then... after having 3 kiddos and finally getting serious about losing weight, I got back to my pre-preggo and lost even more! No matter what I'm still the thinnest he's ever seen me! Feels great, huh?
Keep it up, this will be a great year for you!
