Hi all,

I am new here. I am a large 44 year old man who needs to lose weight. I am currently just under 300 lbs and came across this site when doing a search for fast food sites and calorie intact. I was over 300 lbs before I started riding my exercise bike and cutting down on my eating. I am a Christian and tired of being a mega church, would rather be a small church.

    Hi again,

    I too wanted to request some encouragement, as I have a tendency to get discouraged and quit, or I get hurt and stop working out and stop trying. I had lost a lot of weight years ago but got tired of the hard routine I was pushing myself through and the expense of trying to eat healthy. Why are foods that are good for you so much more then the junk food? I am starting off slow working out with weights 2 to 3 times a week, with light weight, 2 sets and high reps. Trying to do cardio on the recumbent exercise bike at least 4 times a week and walking my dogs every day. I have a bad shoulder and knees so it makes it tough at times.
