Honesty

Just my own personal food for thought....
Honesty of all sorts is important, but honesty with ourselves is foundational. With everything that was in me, I resisted the notion that I had an eating problem. Everybody else had a problem with my eating, not me. But when I finally faced the painful truth, I began the journey to freedom, from not merely my weight, but from all the underlying bondage that had caused me to stuff my feelings. What power comes from honesty! I used to be afraid of truth, but truth is becoming my friend.
Today I will not let myself hide from truth simply to be comfortable; I will use truth as a tool for freedom. I am doing this one day at a time.

    That is very cool. Very happy for you. What you posted is so very true. The truth sets us free on a very internal level - many levels actually.

    I always knew I have a problem, but yeah, I was hiding! I still do, for example I am a closet eater :ohwell:
