Okay, so this is a little success for me. For the past month I have been kind of scale obsessed. I hopped on it quite regularly and it would affect my mood, depending on what it said.

After Christmas I decided not to weigh myself until Jan 5, because of all the ham = water weight. But when I wok wouldn't e up this morning, I realized I didn't CARE. I could get on the scale and it could say I gained 5 pounds and it make any difference to me. I KNOW that I'm eating right and exercising and drinking water - all the right things!

So, my goals have changed. Instead of working towards weight-loss, I am working towards continuing my new lifestyle. The pressure is completely gone and I can just live. *happy sigh* Its just like this enormous weight (pun intended) has been lifted off my shoulders and I am stress free.

So ladies, stop worrying about what the scale says. If you continue to eat right and exercise - the weight will come off. :flowerforyou:

That's about how I feel right now. I've given up worrying about what the scale says. Now if I could just give up worrying about how many calories I'm eating! I swear counting calories is an obsession and I can't stand NOT knowing how many calories I'm eating. :grumble: If I'm eating healthy, only eating when I'm hungry, and exercising nearly every day, I should be fine.
