I am pretty much the same. While not the right direction, I am actually pleased with the results. This is because is was my birthday a couple of days ago and I didn't stay on any kind of plan that day. Even so, the damage is limited. The rest of the month is going to be awesome!0 -
Haven't been doing so great. I keep bouncing up and down between 154 and 160. My motivation seems to keep slipping and I start binging. Trying real hard to get it under control, but can't seem to.

Let's do this folks! How is everyone's week going? I've been working hard and doing loads of exercise - my eating hasn't been great but I've been well under my cals because of so much exercise. I'm hoping for a big drop this week. Why don't we all share our favourite tip or thing we've learned about weight loss?
If I'm feeling the hunger pains, or tempted to make a trip to the choc machine I just drink a big glass of water and I tend to be able to wait till dinner time without scoffing a choccy bar0 -

Nice idea! My favourite tip is to start the day with 10 bangles or bracelets on my left wrist, and each time I have a glass of water during the day I transfer one to my right wrist. Helps to make sure I drink enough.0 -
I love the idea about the bracelets!! That is such a good idea!!0
-
yeah I mean Im really not thrilled about water! I really really dont drink enough! Maybe the breaclet thing will help me
My main tip is to remember this is a LONG journey we are all on. This is the main thing I have learned this time around. I would normally get frustrated after 3-4 weeks on a diet (after the initail big drops ahve stopped) but this time I know its going to take a while and I know I will have bumps in the road but I will get there in the end xxx0 -
I have found that planning my meals and snacks the night before, then printing them out to follow the next day is what works for me. If I don't do this but just try to keep track as I go through the day I find that I forget about it by dinner time and that I don't stick to any kind of limits.
This week I rededicated myself to pre-planning again after a pretty long time of not doing it. My results since March have not been good so we'll see what happens now if I can follow though. I did this two years ago and was really good about keeping at it and during that time I lost 41 pounds. It takes a lot of discipline, especially to keep doing it for a long time, but I have to remind myself that the results are worth it.
Thanks for all of your ideas - they are great!0 -
