My motto is to "Keep trying until something happens!" Life changes. What use to work 10 years ago in your life may not work now. Going to the gym always worked for me; back then. Now I have a 7 yr old son. My "time" priorities changed when he was born. Therefore, for 7 years I have been trying to figure out My Weight Lose Success Story. I have continuously gained weight over 7 years but I have also figured out that I have PCOS. I don't use that as an excuse, just had to figure out my hormones. I have taken various meds for it and just recently have figured out that a birth control pill (not that I need it), 2 vitamin pills, and a melatonin pill at night is what makes me feel my best. If I don't take the following I slowly go back to blah. Now armed with feeling good every day . . . my biggest challenge is going to incorporate exercise. I am going to use my lunch hour to get in at least 30 minutes at the gym instead of running errands. I love going to the gym, but time & convenience of one where I live is the issue. I live in the country and work 30 minutes away in town. I have heard, “If you really want to exercise you will find the time.” I am searching for it – time. Now is the time to get Crazy & Lose the weight.
I have been on here for about a week and so far I am finding it very helpful & supportive.

Welcome to MFP, this is a wonderful site and you will love it. I know how you feel with living in the country and working in town - that is me as well. I don't have any children of the human variety but I do have 3 children of the four legged kind. Feel free to add me and maybe we can share some pointers :happy:0

Maybe u can start with 3 days @ the gym during lunch and the other 2 doing errands...just a thought b/c I have 3 kids and sometimes errands NEED to be done!
PS..running around doing errands IS a form of exercise
Stay FAB!!!0 -
The biggest hurdle is coming to the realization that it is time and it sounds like you have done that, so congratulations! I wish you success in your search for a healthy life style and weight loss. It won't be easy but worth it in the end!0
