I'm 32, work full time, have a kid, sit at a desk all day, and reall love sweets and bread (and have a husband who loves the same).
I'm here because I need to get fit. I have been up and down, saying this for a long time. At 32 I feel like I'm as active as someone at 52.
We got the Wii Fit a while back, and I used it for a few days, my commitment is to using it for a solid month, as well as looking at my eating. I recently saw a friend who's always been "heavy" and is now a lot lighter - she swears by wii's Zumba... If she can do it, I figure it's worth a shot.
For me the eating challenge is CARBS (love them) and SUGAR (love it too) and eating in the evening. I seem to double my calorie intake in the evening.
My husband's decided to do the P90X - I hope that it works for him - and with him on board, we should be able to do it.
My high point was 198, so I'm down from that - but I really want to get back to a reasonable 160.
In the past very low calorie diets and Atkins (very low carbs) have worked for me - I know for me that I drop water and fat weight by dropping carbs. Once I restrict I am tenacious but until then, I'm a sloppy, lazy eater. September is a new month (it's the new season, new schoolyear new start month I love) so I am hoping that by Christmas I can have dropped 25 lbs. Fingers crossed!

You can do it! Look at my diary....I like to eat a higher protein diet, low fat, high fiber, and somewhat low carbs. You can't cut all of your carbs out! But you can manage them, eating only frutis, veggies and diary as your carbs and maybe 3 to 4 svg of the "bready" carbs a day. Make sure your carbs are high in fiber......good luck!!0
