Going straight from work to a BBQ, so I will have to be creative about figuring out my dancing. Going to get a 20 minute walk in at lunch though.

Interesting day... pretty good up to the end of the day. Received a card from my past... about my present. And it was enough to have me feel like a 5 ton weight dropped on my chest! However, the stress will be used wisely! I plan to take it with me to the gym early tomorrow morning! Well, not TOO early... but I am hopeful to get in quite a workout tomorrow!

    Today's numbers...

Nutrition -- Nope, not even all that close! Sorry! :ohwell:
Exercise -- Yep, still couch dancing as I type this because I love Dance Days! Gives me so much energy!
    Cario -- 127 minutes...

Total = 70 points for me

Hope everyone is doing well and had a great start to the Holiday weekend!

Sorry I wasn't able to post yesterday. I was at a friends back to school bbq until way past my bedtime. I went straight from work, so the only exercise I got in was my lunchtime walk, but before I went to bed I did 10 minutes of pretty lame dancing.

Nutrition....Nope (I was happy to go to a party and stay under my calories, but I was over on fat)
    Exercise...10 pts
    Cardio....10 pts
Total is a measly 20 for me yesterday

I am about to head out for a run/walk so my exercise numbers will be much higher today. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Happy Saturday! I hope everyone had a great day.

    Nutrition - 5pts
    Exercise - 10 pts
    Cardio - 20 pts
    Total for me - 35pts

I was wondering if anyone thought it might be a good idea to move our rest day this week. I know that since I am off work on Monday, I will workout because it is easier to get accomplished than on a work day. If we are going to move it, I would vote for Tuesday or Thursday. Whatever we decde as a group though is fine with me.

WOW!! 50 of those squat kicks... using both legs to kick... after a Sprint Triathalon + (gym equivalent) is HHHHHAAARRRRDDD!! I am TTTIIIII-red! Good thing the plan is to go to bed shortly! Plan to hit the gym tomorrow... probably just for swimming. I need to get in some swim miles... And, I like Dusty's suggestion of moving the rest day. I have Monday off also! Tuesday or Thursday would be good. In fact, Thursday would be perfect!! That'd be my choice...

I did get in a ton of Cardio today! I did the equivalent of a Sprint Triathalon + at the gym today. Did 12.5 miles of biking all together, took a couple breaks for 30 seconds and 1 that was a couple minutes to readjust my HRM but it was all in a row. Did 3.1 miles of jogging on the elliptical. Was sooooo happy to get off of the elliptical today! Then, I swam 1 mile. Only needed a half mile for the "sprint triathalon" length but needed to get in some swim miles so I kept going. Walked afterwards because I wanted to feel like I got a natural stretch in. Will be stretching more tonight and tomorrow. I love this Saturday "event" and am thinking that I may make this a regular Saturday thing... I do have to admit that I don't worry about the amount of time it takes me right now... partly because it's just about pushing through to get it done and partly because I know every minute adds up to points for our team... speaking of points --

    Points for the day:

Nutrition: way under sodium! Got It! +5
Exercise: SO HARD! Did 'Em! +10
    Cardio: 308 minutes, Wowzers! +150

TOTAL: 165 points from me

I hope to goodness that wall push ups count! Seriously... 50? I might do a few on the ground, but many will be against the wall! :blushing:

Anyone finding the exercise challenges... well, challenging?!? I mean, I get that the reason they are there is to push us and challenge us... I almost wish though that we could get 5 points for 25 and 10 points for 50. At least then, people are still giving it a try when you "know" you can't make the 50! I thought we used to get to do 25 of things, but maybe I am wrong. Anyway... I am thinking I can get this one in today... but yesteday was a struggle! Since I was kicking with both legs (mind you very low kicks) I wished it had been 25! Oh well... CHALLENGE... I just need to remember that. I typically am a completer/finisher, which is why it's hard for me when I feel like they seem darn near impossible.

themommie -- I went back to look for your name, thinking that I couldn't remember it. Not sure that I ever knew it... so, if you don't mind, can I ask? I just feel like I'd love to be replying to your actual name. Unless you prefer your screenname.

    Thanks!

Great job yesterday everyone! My first choice for a rest day this week is Tuesday, but either works for me so whatever the group decides.

Got my push-ups done! Wow that was hard. This is the first time I have had to break them up into several sets throughout the day, but I just can't do more than 10 at a time with any kind of decent form or my arms giving out. Someday I hope to be able to do them without my knees.

I'll check back in tonight when I know about my nutrition challenge. We are heading to a sporting event tonight so I don't know what my food options will be.
