So I just went out rollerblading with my kids. My son on his bike and I was pushing my daughter in the stroller. I think between the stop to play at the park and the hundreds of stops I had risked for mu don I was probably only blading for about 15min. I guess its better than nothing

I love rollerblading. I wish I had the opportunity to get out there more often. Unfortunately the stroller isn't tall enough. The week I started I'd go for 30 min as fast as I could 3x a week. There was a huge difference in my thighs right away.

I bought a set of K2's in July. Been out 10-15 times. Love it when its a wide flat path. Hills give quite a workout too. I average about a mile and half each time i go.

Neat little app for your phone to track by GPS is called Endomondo. Works on iPhone, Android, and maybe BB. It tracks you by walking, running, biking, rollerblading, ect. You can pause it, track distance, calories burned, speed, adv speed, and total time.

Then it uploads it to a website that you can manage. It's pretty spiffy.

    Check it out.

Also do you all wear gear when you go or just workout clothes and your blades? I had some old man scold me because i didn't have wrist guards the other day. Maybe i'm just stubborn and ignorant enough to think I don't need it ?
