Today I did my first 5K ever. I of course was alot slower than most people but I still am proud of myself. I had a time of 49.41. I dont think that is to bad considering I still weight 264 lbs. Now I cant wait to do another one.

Yay for you...congratulations, it's not an easy feat. You did great no matter what your time was...finishing, feeling good about yourself and the sense of accomplishment are the most important thing here. Now that you have empowered yourself, you can do ANYTHING. :flowerforyou:

:flowerforyou: Congratulations! And I agree - they are addicting. I did my first 5K this year and then did a 10K in November. Slow and steady wins the race
