30 Day shred problems, cardio bits

So far I am on day 14 of 30DS, on Level 2. I have had 1 day off. But from the outset I get a sore back across the diaphragm area when I do some of the cardio bits like jumping jacks and rope jumps.The pain stops pretty quick once I have stopped doing the cardio Anyone any advice?
Im 40 and I seem to be managing all the other bits ok. Ive not done much cardio in the last 20 or so years. when I was a school I couldnt run as I kept throwing up. Puberty had hit me then though. I havent tried running or jogging since.
