Hi! I've been on MPF for just a few days now, but I'm loving this site! It's great how it counts everything for you!
I have to say, though, any support would be great! I've lost about 5 lbs. so far, but I've got close to 100 to go! When I went on Depo-Provera, I gained about 60 lbs., and I never really lost that before I started having kids. After my first, I lost about 50, but then I got pregnant again, and again. I got pregnant with my 3rd when my second was just 5 months old (not at all planned!), so I hadn't even lost the pregnancy weight from him before I gained even more pregnancy weight! Sigh. Long road ahead!
I do have a question, though. I thought you weren't suppose to eat if you're not hungry? So do you eat if you haven't met your calorie count even if you're not hungry?
Thanks!

My advice would be eat your calories, even if you don't feel hungry you still need the energy to keep up with your little ones, and you will have more energy. Also it's quite possible to stall your weight loss by dropping your calories too low.0

Yes, sometimes I have a hard time eating back my calories as well...especially when a really good workout ups it so much..but I try to do a lot of little meals and/or snacks.0

What you need to do is learn to balance your calories through out the day. I'm on a 1200 cal diet and I try to have 200- 250 calories for breakfast and lunch because this leaves me with calories for a snack late afternoon and 600 calories at dinner because I like to have a bigger meal at dinner.
You should also consider making your diet public if you haven't already so others can help you.
But to answer the question, yes you should eat your allotted calories for the day, if you eat too few calories then your body goes into starvation mode and hordes fat which slows down if not stops weight loss. and as the previous reader says, it will give you more energy to keep up with the little ones.
Just being here and trying is a HUGE step in the right direction! Keep up the good work and stay motivated!:flowerforyou:0 -
Awesome job on your weight loss so far even though you have a while to go just remember you can do it ! you have already proven that to yourself. And yes eating your recommended calories is a good idea.0
