Rib cage

So this morning I looked in the mirror and noticed some ribs showing. I am losing weight and I know that bone definition is going to happen but I do not find it attractive. In fact I am slightly grossed out by bones and the dreaded leg space leg all the hipsters in there leggings as pants have been sporting. If i do more core strengthening will that lessen the appearance of The ribs? Or anyone have any other suggestions?

I have big ribs and with 43+ lbs. left to lose, they are ALREADY sticking way out. I think it's just part of the gig. But, yeah, muscley people seem less bony. So I think you're right.0

Agree with both of you. Do core exercises to add muscle mass, not just for endurance. By this I mean, if you can do good form crunches for 20 or more reps, then do them holding a weight plate behind your head until you can only 10-14 or so, and work up the weight until you get the results you want. Also consider the obliques and lower back in the mix.
A strong core is aesthetically pleasing, as well as healthy for your back health, overall posture, and physical abilities.

This guy is an engineer and a bodybuilder, and despite his silly hats and somewhat whimsical voice, has excellent advice on all sorts of exercise from a very scientific standpoint, cutting through all the voodoo and bro-science regarding workouts.0
