How do you feel about women calling the games in college football. I don't like it but wanted to know your opinions.

    As long as it's not Lou Holtz and his spitting self, I don't care. He's the only announcer I can't stand, mainly b/c you can't freakin' understand him.

    That is definitely true haha it drives me crazy to listen to him. I was just watching the Auburn game and the woman that was announcing was getting on my nerves. Maybe it's just her I don't know but I don't like it

    The way I see it if you know it, and love it and can talk it why the heck not.
    I mean they have himbo's up there calling games.


    It would be nice if they didn't look like men. I'd hate to have some common thought that women who resembled Pam Ward were the only ones who knew and loved College Football.

    LMAO...Just because Lou has a lisp and wets up anyone within 10 feet doesn't make him a bad announcer.. actually I think the same thing every time I get his analisis..great coach shi##y announcer.

    To answer you question though it's not a big deal..unless you are a sexist..lol. I used to work with ESPN's Linda Cohn at KIRO in Seattle in the early 1990's. She was one of the first women announcers/sportscasters. if they are good why should their sex stop them?

    Shannon Sharp has the lisp also, I like Lou but Shannon gets on my nerves. He is on the radio in Georgia sometimes.
