I have been a yo-yo dieter all of my life. I found this program while searching and I am so excited. I was writing everything by hand and doing pretty well. I quit writing last week and my eating was back to my old habits quickly. If anyone has some tips to help a beginner....I would appreciate it.

Portion control! and commit to keeping track of all your food, either on here, or in a little notebook. If you have a friend who lives close to you, I suggest asking them to keep you motivated. EX( I have a friend, who lives far away, but is also trying to lose weight. Every morning we ask each other what we ate, and what we did for exercise the day previous)

I also keep track of my steps on a pedometer, so If I am below a certain number, I do a big long walk. It works, it takes time, but you can do anything you put your mind to!!!! Good luck! Feel free to add me.
  • Always ensure that at least third of your meal is vegetables. Working wonders for me x

If you have a smart phone, definitely get the app! You can keep track when your on the go. When logging your food, the Bar-code scanner work wonder!! I absolutely love that feature on my phone. Saves time. Drink plenty of water.
