If so, what are some of your favorite "recipes" to juice? I'm probably getting a juicer tomorrow and am looking forward to trying some new stuff (but ... nothing *too* scary yet).

I have a juicer but don't use it. I would like to start though:)) I really want to give my kids real fruit juice and use juicing as a way to get more vegetables in their diet. I'm gonna look for my recipe book and I'll let you know some recipes that look good.

I do and am still learning as I go. I usually only have time to juice in the evenings. I've also changed to juicing only my veggies (adding a small red apple for sweetness) and eating or blending my fruits because the fiber will help slow down the absorption of its sugars.
Here's a good link for nutritional and beneficial information on juicing:

This link will point out the benefits of blending vs juicing:

    Good Luck.

Fruit/veggie juice is the same amount of calories as the fruit/veggies you're juicing. I don't know what you're saying.
