Festival Advice please!

I'm heading to a festival this weekend Thurs - Sun.
I know some people will say just relax about food but I've literally just got back from holiday from which I gained 2lbs! Really don't want it to happen again.
I'm not a big alcohol drinker. There will be lots of food to buy but I'm on a bit of a budget.
No way of keeping anything cold. And not too keen on cooking on a gas stove.
Oh and I'm Veggie and don't like nuts. Any ideas on breakfast/ lunch and snacky type things?

I JUST got back from a festival where I put on a tonne of weight due to bad eating habits. Honestly, stay away from the food they sell there. It's fatty and ridiculously expensive. Try and find a supermarket nearby that sells things like sandwiches which you can eat on the go and will keep out for a day or two. Load up on dry foods and things like bread rolls. Drink a lot of water to keep yourself hydrated and walk lots every day.0

I'd say preplan what you are gonna have ans stick to that. For example you might have a corndog. Log it before and stick to it. If that doesn't work, pack your own lunch.0

I would definitely say try to take some dry foods with you, maybe cereal that you can eat dry, protein bars, or granola bars, something like that. And as stated above, water, water, water! The local grocery store idea is great too.
Good luck and have fun. Try not to stress too much about it!

Thank you all! I am slightly stressing. Think I'll be taking cereal bars, rice cakes, dried fruit. Not sure where I'm going to get any protein from.0

One of my friends took canned food (e.g. tuna) and a can opener - that's a way to get some protein! Don't stress too much about the macro breakdown - it's only a few days. Just concentrate on enjoying yourself and not over-eating0 -
Excellent idea about the cans an opener. Thanks0
