I find myself getting to be lonely at times. I have friends but they all have a lot of other things going on, new babies, new girlfriends/boyfriends, new jobs etc.

Any who before I start sounded to sad and pathetic I'm just looking for a friend that shares the same interests as me besides just wanting to get in shape.

I was wondering if there are any girls in the Sterling Heights/ Troy / Mt. Clemens type area that might share some of my more nerdy interests that would like to hang out with me. Preferably somebody who likes animals and super bonus points if you play WoW (preferably horde >_<).

I tried Eve because one of my friends was pestering me. The UI is god awful and I couldn't quite grasp what exactly was fun about the game. >_<

How long ago? They have come out with some awesome patches lately. (including customizing your characters which was cool for me since I'm a girl and it matters to me what color her hair and eyes are...LOL) As far as the game goes, it depends on what you want to get out of it. PVP or Industrial? Also, it depends on what kind of base you want your MMORPG to be. Adventure is what some like, space is another option. I'd like WOW if I ever played it, I'm sure...but EVE takes up enough time with my addictive personality as it is...Lord help me if I started WOW as well! I'd never get away from the computer! LOL

    Right.

And what does qualify a game in your definition of the word?
If you say first person shooters i'm going to punch a puppy in the face.

FPSs have declined over the years, but at least it's not "look at my gear I spent X hours grinding heroics for."

Only baddies have to grind heroics for gear.

I raid 9 hours a week, enjoy the company of the people I play with, and I have fun defeating a new boss for the first time.

You don't have to dog on it just because it's not your cup of tea.
