If you have them... fill me in! I want to grow my hair out but I'm very impatient! I have no experience with them so I'm hoping someone here can enlighten me. I want to buy some soon but can't decide whether to get them from Sally's beauty supply or order them from one of the online distributors. I am definitely going to go with the Remy human hair... that much I know.
Suggestions???

Well I have had short hair for about 10 years now and have no personal experience of them but my hairdresser uses them and she said that they are a massive hassle and she will only put them in for something special.
I know it's not answering your question at all but she also told me that one of her clients asked to have her hair cut and then made into hair extensions for her own use, which seemed a bit strange but when you think about it, I guess it would mean that she could have short hair and long hair at the same time!0 -
Thanks for your replies... and yes I'm sure they are probably a hassle if you have to put them in every day... but just for special occasions would be something fun and different.0

I wear them! They are no hassle.n fact when it comes to styling your hair u can curl them off your head which is easier lol and they clip right in and hold easily. I love them! I had remy hair extentions first, but then i got some from foxylocksextensions.com and those ones were way better! They are thicker and softer.0

Hey girl!! I hope all is going well with your bulking!!!! My 15 yr old daughter got a wild hair up her but and cut all of her hair off, after the fact she missed her long hair. So I asked our hair dresser about the extentions, because a lot of her friends had them. She said to be honest the one's at Sally's are just as good or better than the one's you order. She instructed us to go buy them, to the closest color to her hair, she said we could dye them if needed. We did find some that looked the exact same color of her hair. We went straight back to her, she showed us how to put them in, which was easy, then she layered them while they were in her hair so it would look more full and more like her hair, that night when we got home I got a permanent magic marker and numbered them as I took them out so I would know where they went being they were cut different. Everybody thinks it's her hair! They look great! She has had them about 5mo and they are getting a little then, so now she wants some new one's for x-mas!! They are made of real hair so you can put styleing products in to go curly or whatever. Good luck!!!0

thanks! I've looked at foxy locks... but have seen some people complain that they start to look awful after using them a while... have you experienced this?
Other places I've seen to order... don't know about any of them...

THANK YOU!!! That is great to know. I didn't know if the Sally's ones would be as good. I looked at them yesterday but wasn't sure. It sure would be easier if I could match them up in the store instead of just guessing about it online. Now one of the advantages of the online ones is that some companies offer mixed colors... like two different shades of brown or highlights/lowlights...0 -
They're not a hassle at all. If you get the correct color they are undetectable. They take 5 minutes to put them in. And a great alternative while growing out your hair. If you are looking for a good set for a good price I recommend pro extensions or luxy hair. If your looking for an excellent set I recommend hello gorgeous. You can do anything you want with them. I get compliments when I wear mine all the time and for the extra 5 minutes why not.0

And another thing. i recommend going to the stylist to get them cut to blend with your hair.0

I've been researching about them and decided to go with the Luxy! I already ordered the chocolate brown! I really wanted the Hello Gorgeous but I e-mailed the girl and never heard back... and I kept reading horror stories about the customer service.
I'm definitely going to bring them to my hairdresser and have them styled0 -

Yeah she doesn't have the best customer service. She doesn't employ enough people. And since she makes them when you order them I think she gets too many orders and then has her hands full. The extensions are beautiful but I did wait a while lol. I've also had my luxy's for about a year they still look brand new are awesome quality and absolutely gorgeous hair. Great choice!!!0 -
