Hi everyone,
I just wanted to post a note to say hello and that I've been using MFP for 6 weeks now and have lost 15 pounds so far! :happy:
Being disciplined about recording my daily eating habits has been key for me. It's really helped me to control snacking, especially after dinner. That's made all the difference.
I've been very good about getting to the gym at least five times per week too. I don't really love doing that, to be honest, but I look at it as a task to get through on my road to success.
I have an appointment with my doctor in mid-October that is a follow-up to my annual physical that I had back at the beginning of the summer. I'm actually excited to talk to him and see what he thinks about my weight loss success.
I hope everyone else out there is having good success also, and you're all having a great summer !

Great job. I've been back at it for about the same amount of time and have lost about the same amount of weight. Keep up the good work! And yes Logging is certainly key for me too!0

Well done, you're doing great - I'd be really pleased with myself if I'd made it to the gym 5 times a week! Loads of luck with the medical, but 15lb down is going to make some difference there for sure.0

That's where MFP comes up trumps! It's a fantastic program that works simply because you WANT to log in every day and you do your damnedest to keep under your goal but even if you're not, well, you'll try harder tomorrow. Lol!!0
