Here's some tips to get your started.
1. Eat healthily. Limit your junk food intake. Eat complex carbs (whole grains, oats, brown rice) instead of simple carbs (white bread, white rice, white pasta).
2. Control your caloric intake. That's the purpose of MFP's calorie counter.
3. Develop an exercise routine, and stick with it. Find an activity you enjoy doing, it doesn't have to be the elliptical or the treadmill.0 -
The forum has a search button that contains answers to almost any question you could possibly imagine. Try to eat at least 1200 calories or more. Eat back at least half, if not all your exercise calories. Get friends who will encourage and support and be honest with you but not judge you. Eat as clean as possible and try to get your daily total to a zero balance. Great luck on your journey!0

I don't understand why you need to eat back the calories you burned off. To me this seems rather counterproductive.0
