If it's a show about the paranomal, it's fake.

I am open to it...but have never had a personal experience. I like to watch the shows...even if they are fake.

never believed in this stuff until it happened to me! now i do believe in ghosts at least. i love "a haunting" on discovery, but i have to watch it in the daylight.

I personally like Ghost Hunters on Syfy because they mostly try to debunk, not like oh no there was a noise it was a ghost!!

Most shows about the paranormal are lame.

That said.......

To paraphrase Shakespeare "There are more things in Heaven and Earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy".

Clearly there is more to the world than is observable through microscopes or telescopes.

Often events surrounding death in our family involve huge coincidences that are very tough to explain.

I don't think we should behave as if we expect anything paranormal to happen, but we should keep our eyes,hearts and minds open.

i watch ghost shows ALL THE TIME !!!..i had several experiences when i was a teenager..i have always believed, but the stuff i saw and heard scared me, and gave me a higher respect..it was all crazy

Oh yes! I sure have had experiences with ghosts. Many actually. I even have a photograph of one. Or what I believe is a ghost. And I took the photo all around to different camera and photo experts to see if they could give me another explanation to what would cause the "smoke figure" in the photo and they couldn't give me any.

I had some really awful paranormal experiences in both the house I grew up in and the first apartment I ever lived in.

Hi I too love to watch paranormal shows, though nothing has ever happened to me I find them fascinating! I would love to go to the haunted sites on t.v. and see if there really is anything to see.lol.

I've had a few (quite a few) paranormal experiences. Have had a few since moving back with my parents. Although this isn't the house I grew up in. Shuffling outside my door at night, not every night, strange things...

I believe in it, but haven't experienced it. I love watching the shows about haunted places and haunted hotels.. Makes me want to go there so I can have the sheets ripped off of me at night!

I don't like the shows really because they over-exaggerate everything. I did have an experience once. Okay, quite a few. I seem to be "sensitive" to these kinds of things. I've had good and bad experiences. One of them was seeing my grandfather not long after he died. He kind of appeared as if to say, I'm still here, and then was gone just as quickly. I thought I had dreamed it until my grandmother said she had seen it too (she was in the same room.) I've also had a bad experience where a seemingly angry man attempted to take his frustrations out on myself and a friend of mine. I was at someone else's house and after everything happened, I called my mom to have her come pick us up. Turned out she was awake and about to call me because she woke up feeling like I was in trouble. Talk about a mother's intuition! :laugh:

One that just occurred to me: when my brother and I were little, I was probably 8 and he was 6, we slept with our doors open and the hall light on, being afraid of the dark and all. Well we would both wake up in the middle of the night and see a shadow standing outside our door. No person, just a shadow. I thought it was one of my parents so the next day I asked them if either one had stood outside my door. Neither of them had gotten up at all, not even to go pee. My brother, who didn't hear me mention it, asked them the same thing later on. I think we freaked out my parents a little! Eventually the shadow stopped visiting though, and it always remained just outside the door, never came in. Almost like whoever it was was checking up on us. Can't say I miss him :laugh:

You so do not sound crazy I have to agree abduction from aliens is just to freaky for me! Hauntings I would love to see if those things really do happen.

I pretty much watch any ghost show that comes on TV , but I sometimes struggle when they use psychics because I'm not sure I really believe in them.

Some shows seem more real to me than others: Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, Paranormal State I believe. Most Haunted and some of the shows on A & E are too influenced by the psychics.

Growing up, I always loved when my Dad told me ghost stories and Edgar Allan Poe is still one of my favorite American writers.:-)

LOL Erin...you ould come visit Virginia City. Talk about freakin haunted! I live about 55 miles from it by road, less than 20 in a straight line over the mountains.

The mountains and hills of Nevada...are a creepy, creepy place at night.

Too many weird things have happened to me (and my daughter) to totally dismiss the possibility that there are mysteries out there that cannot be explained by science.

I lurve ghosthunters.

I think there are probably more fake psychics out there than real ones.

I'm at odds with the shows on t.v. I really can't put any stock in them for my own personal beliefs.

I do believe there are paranormal activities (lulz...horrible movie) out there, but I am yet to experience any.

I love watching paranormal shows. I am a true believer. I personally have had several experiences.If I didnt have those experiences, I am not sure I would be a believer. But, now I have no doubt.

I wouldnt try to convince anyone. I actually rarely ever talk about it. It is very personal.

for me I believe in the paranormal, i have had a few experinces. I enjoy most shows, fake or not its nots a big deal to me, as long as its entertaining and is thought proviking then its worth it.

No!!! I watched it during the day so I wouldn't be spooked, or so I thought..

I could not sleep in my own bed. I lived with my brother at the time and I was sleeping on the couch at night for a week with QVC on.. It was the only way I could get a max of 4-5 hours per night. He asked me one day, "Uhm, Erin.. When are you going to start sleeping in your room again?" and I said, "Dan.. Let me handle this.. If I am still on the couch in two weeks, I will seek help. But for now, just let me be!"

Then after I moved to my Mom's for a short period of time, it got much worse. I was sleeping in her finished attic, and there were windows EVERYWHERE. I slept right next to them, and all I could think was, "It would be so easy for them to take me!!"

I am currently doing much better. I seriously considered seeing a therapist.

The only one I watch is "Ghost Hunters". The rest are so fake it's boring! Ghost Hunters actually been in my hometown a couple times.

i once had a friend who thought she was hearing ghosts in her house. then one day she came to me and said she actually saw one of them. she continued telling me ghost stories for a year or so.

she had made a weegie board to try talking to them. i was at her house one year the night before halloween when we decided to take it out with a few friends. we asked a bunch of personal questions, and ill never forget the feeling i got when our hands began moving together on the weegie board answering our questions correctly. i was so freaked out i tried to pull my hand of the cursor but they were stuck. i could actually feel something holding my hand to it.

im not a big believer in ghosts, but i never say im a non believer cause i remember what i felt that night and i will never deny feeling it.

I'm fascinated but scared to death at the same time. I believe in paranormal. I believe there are good and bad spirits and I often ask for a white light of protection through which nothing negative can penetrate (and I haven't actually had a paranormal experience).

I would so like to communicate with my mom who has passed but I'm afraid at the same time. I think she knows that too and wont come until she knows I can handle it.
