EXCELLENT!!! Just do your best and remember, safety first. We don't want any injuries. Ok? God speed and take the GOLD! Lol!!!

Good luck! Tomorrow was suppose to be my first 5k (Chick Fil A Labor Day 5K in Memphis) but decided to wait one more week and save the gas and hotel and do one locally. Someone told me - just run YOUR RACE and don't worry about everyone else. :flowerforyou:

Awesome! You can do it, training or no. I did one in the spring with no training and now I'm getting ready for one this fall with a month of training. I came in with no training right in the middle of the pack, so I'm sure you'll do fantastic. Let us know how it goes!:-D

    Have fun and good luck!
  • Have a great time and enjoy every second of it. The key is to finish the race, do not worry about the time. You can worry about that after you do a few of them (they are addictive. I just finished my second one yesterday and I have already signed up for 6 more thru October!!)

It was so much fun! We got rained on (which sure beat the heat). My son got first in his age group (11-14), his friend third, and his other friend got third in the female age group. I FINISHED! I was so excited. It's no land speed record ( I explained to the kids that I was the tortise...lol)

We hd a great time and it was for a great cause. Thanks for the support!

Great job!!!! It's all about enjoying the race and the good cause you're supporting. You should feel proud of yourself for you and your family's accomplishment!

I wish I could get more friends and family to join me in the 5K persuit. Sadly, except for MFP, I'm on my own!:-(
