    I don't know which I hate more.....bear walk or burpees...LOL. If you look at his blog, he gives us a modification for the burpees(thank goodness!) 500 crunches over the course of 6 days....UGH 83 per day minimum:noway: Well, I won't be able to say I don't have a strong core after next week :wink:
  • Ingrid, I KNOW you can do this. When I was asked to join this team, you were the first one of my friends that I thought to ask to come along with me...You're willingness to take on challenges amazes me. So glad we are doing this together!!

    Hey Becca, I'm so thankful you thought of me for this challenge. It was EXACTLY what I needed to get me out of my incresingly lazy tendencies again. Really glad to be a part of this tribe :love: I'm already looking forward to October...LOL :wink:

    Tomorrow I focus on making up the rest of the exercises that I missed this week. Thankfully I managed to make up most of them today. I have to do 2-1 minute bear walks and walk at least 1.5 miles. Unfortunately, I didn't make any additional points for us this week but I WILL get it done this coming week.

    Dont even worry about the additional points. Thats what they are there for, to push yourself farther if you can. I know it has been an adjustment to do our normal workout plans and then adding in these challenge exercises. Be proud of what you have accomplished this week.

    Dont be overwhelmed by the big picture. Tell yourself, "This is week I want to get two additional points for our team."

    For me, it is addictive. Once I have one or two, I think, "Come on, Becca! You did it yesterday. There's no reason you cant do it again today!" It works for me. Hopefully it will work for you too.

    Funny that I have been doing this for 3 months and the only exercise that I plan is walking 3 times a week for at least a 1/2 mile. I don't even have the days picked out. This challenge is teaching me what type of things to do to get in better shape. I don't know why I didn't think of doing basic calesthenics, awesome calorie burn and they use a lot of different muscle groups, not just the legs. I'm feeling stronger every day and that is an AMAZING feeling.

    I gained 1.8lbs this week. I suspect it is because I still have 3 days worth of food in my gut. My fiber intake is good but I can't seem to keep things "moving". Any suggestions? I'm drinking at least 64oz of water each day, some days 80 oz.
  • Sonia, I'll post my weight in the morning. I'm not happy with my scale these last few days. Hopefully something miraculous will occur overnight. :grumble: :grumble: :grumble: :grumble:
