Hey everyone,
I joined a while ago but never really looked at it. Then during the summer, I was studying for both the GRE and the MCAT. I gained over 30 pounds. I was already about 30lbs over my weight. Enough is enough. I began to really watch what i eat and work out when i can. I hope i can continue on this new lifestyle. Ive read a ton of before and after stories and i am so motivated.
Im 21 years old.. currently 5'8. starting weight is 200lbs. now 196 lbs

Just wanted to say hello and make some MFP friends

Aww thank you very much :3:flowerforyou:
I really didnt realize the extend of my weight gain during the summer. My jeans, which normally fit loose, i am unable to fit in them. Im ashamed i really let myself get to this point without noticing it.
The amount of support within this community is amazing; i cant wait to share my experiences with you all.
  • Starting grad school and moving the same year was my "undoing" I've lost the 20lbs i put on in that time but want to get down to high school weight (can't believe i thought i was fat back then!) Still have another year of grad school, but i hope to be fit and fabulous for graduation in May!

    Friend me if you'd like!

Ah yes, a fellow 21 year old with the same height as me. Nothing seems to be more challenging than having to deal with school and having to lose weight. I am definitely in the same boat. But as long as there is motivation, there is always a way. :)
