How are you tracking your progress?

Just curious as to how most of you track your progress. I am a 28 year old male and am currently using daily weigh-ins along with weekly body fat percentage (using a tanita scale). What are you using to track your progress? Do most people use measurements? If so, how often are you taking them, and where are you taking them? Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I use my digital scales that also measure body fat % once a week, and my tape measure every 2-4 weeks... usually when I think I 'feel' smaller in places or before and after a workout program that lasts a number of days/weeks. Progress pictures are also good to use as motivation and visual evidence! I like to make these at each mini goal or every 10lbs lost.0

I track my progress on how I feel and on comments from other people.
I dont measure myself - mmmm is that bad, maybe I should, but I think I will know I have lost inches when my clothes feel looser, and they are, my biggest jeans are now waiting to be cut up and put in the bin.
I only weigh myself every two weeks - I know alot of people on here weigh daily even sometimes twice daily, but I think how often you weigh yourself is something you have to decide, and do what you feel good with, I have my own reasons for getting weighed fortnightly, I feel it spurs me on to do better, and I am not getting on the scales every morning willing the scales to move a little.
Everyone tracks in their own different ways and at the end of it all its what you feel good with.
Apologies for any typos0 -
I also have daily log-ins. I don't care about the nay-sayers, I find it helpful to log every day.
I also measure as and when I think there' a change to be marked, but only if I see that change before breakfast. As for where I meaure, the only places that interest me, waist, hips and thigh. The reason I started dieting was because I was having problems getting my trousers on due to my hips and thigh and my tummy wa becoming noticably rounder. Compared to my skinny self I looked posatively pregnant, so those were the three areas that I thought about and the only three I wanted to measure :P0 -
I have a spreadsheet that I update once a week for my "official weight in day". I also use this to track % of weight loss. I'm not close enough to start tracking body fat %. I do measure myself once a month and track that too.0

I weigh daily but only record it when I have a loss. I keep a spreadsheet of all sorts of data like when I change my goals, all my blood work results, measurements, etc. I measure probably the first of the month. I think what is also critical is taking front and side pictures of yourself...you know not just those somebody took of you at a party. Wear something form fitting so you can then compare them and see the real changes you are making. When the scale is not moving, a picture tells a thousand words. I have a series I put together of comparisons.0

I weigh in daily because I'm relatively new to this (2 months this time around) and I want to get a feel for how my body works and fluctuates. Also I'd get bored waiting a whole week to weigh in! I don't measure. Probably should.0

I have a spread sheet that I have created in Excel. I don't care about my scale weight. I'm focusing on my body fat percentage and pounds of fat. I'm aiming to lose pounds of fat and not scale weight.
I do my weigh in and measurements (3 spots) every month. I have a Go Sport body fat scale and Omron hand held body fat monitor.
I have a body fat percentage goal and I know it will take me a year or longer to get there. My goal is to lose 4 to 8 pounds of fat a month.0 -
I weigh weekly (don't own scales!) and measure monthly.0

I weigh daily and record it on an app on my iPhone.
I weigh-in on MFP weekly.
I measure and take pictures quarterly.0 -
I'm also a daily weigher, it's the only way I stay on track to be honest. i don't worry if my weight goes up a lb or two as that is just natural fluctuations and generally is followed by that being lost and another one too! lol
I have pics taken and I did measure recently but that's the first time so will wait a month or so. I didn't want to measure when I'd had my baby as didn't want to risk becoming depressed about my weight.0
