NSV - who is that?

I just saw a picture of me with my ultimate frisbee team and I didn't realize I was looking at me until I saw the name on the shirt. I look fantastic! I look toned and focused on the game. That made me incredibly happy.

To put this in context, my PhD dissertation was due 2 days ago. I'm still scrambling to finish writing and I'm in that deep dark emotional hole where I'm just exhausted and can't imagine ever getting this done. This NSV is like my private miracle.

It's been a few years since we've been there, but I remember my husband scrambling to finish all of his work, too. (He just has a Masters, though). You'll do great. Just hunker down and get it done!
