edited October 2 in Introduce Yourself
So I've been reading around the forums and posting a bit. I thought I should introduce myself. I'm a 29 year old male that hit around 240lb on my birthday back in July. At 5'8" this was completely unacceptable. So the life style changes started. Since mid July I've dropped to 213lb and am feeling so much better. I bought a bike and have been riding 3-5 times a week, it has been fantastic.

My core group of friends are all on the chubby side and we've all started complaining about it. So i started working on it and they have followed suit. One friend suggested I join MFP so i looked into it and decided I liked it better than the counter program I had been using. So now you are all graced with me too.

While I don't subscribe to MFP's nutrient balance I do find it helpful in keeping track of what I want to keep track of. Cool site and i hope to be posting in your success stories section soon.
