Hi all. I've been trying to tweak my eating habits to get my plateau to end. It's slowly starting to move but I've reviewed my eating habits and see that sugar is a huge problem in my eating habits.

My Food Diary states I should only be having 31 g's of sugar a day. According to that, a banana and apple would put me over every time!! How do I get around that?

As well, do any of you have any favorite low/no sugar snacks that you have that help you get through the cravings? Thanks guys

    Pick lower sugar fruits?

Berries, cherries, apples, grapefruit, apricots, and peaches.

    I replace sugar with stevia.

I'm sorry but there is no way the body can properly function on only 31 grams of carbs/day. That is rediculous. As far as healthy sugar substitutes, I only use Stevia myself. Organic maple syrup is also good in moderation.

I think she means 31g of sugar not total carbs - my limit is set for example at 165g carbs (which I am going to reduce) but my sugar at 24g.
