zumba belt

ive noticed that you can get the zumba for wii with a belt
what does this do?
do i need it?

    It holds the Wii controller at your hip so the Wii can register your moves. Not essential.

    The belt holds the wii remote on your hip to calculate your movement.

    yes and no - it is a waist strap with a pocket for the controller, so that you wear the controller at the right angle for the game to register and score your moves. You could tuck it into a hip pocket and that would work just as well.

    thats why i like the xbox kinect cos you dont need a controller, you are the controller!

    Id rather have an xbox but got a Wii instead years ago :/
