3rd Round, Fit-n-Trim to Win Elimination Contest
There will be 3 teams of 6 or 7 people. Losing team will eliminate one person with the lowest percentage of body weight.
The person with the highest percentage of weight loss gets an advantage for the next week. This will have some twists as the weeks go on. The advantages will include immunity; weight advantage and disadvantage, trading players. This is supposed to be fun and good natured so you need to take penalties good natured.
Criteria to enter:
1) You have a digital scale
2) You have a digital camera
3) You can weigh in any day of the week (weekdays & weekends)
Weigh-ins:
1. We will weigh in every Wednesday. If you fail to weigh in on Wednesday, you will be eliminated and out of the contest. If that happens, no one will be eliminated for that week.
2. You can post up 2 weights for the weigh in days. I will pick the lower of the two weights.
3. If you are unable to make a weigh-in and know that you will be on vacation, please notify me at the start of the contest. I will allow a different weigh in date since I will know upfront and will allow a change. There will be no other exceptions.
4. If you would not like to be in the game anymore, do not post it on the thread. Send me an email, so that other contestants do not know and slack off. We’ll let them think someone will still be eliminated.
Second Chance:
Everyone deserves a second chance, right? So, for all the people eliminated, they will be put in the second chance category. We will have 2 opportunities for the second chance people to come back. I’m thinking Week 7 and Week 12. If you are the top loser of the second chance category, you will be allowed back into the contest.
How to weigh-in:
1. You would weigh in with the code work that I will post on a thread the prior night
2. You will take a picture of the scale with your current weight, date and code word attached
3. You will post the photo on the link I will provide for each week
Besides, the ultimate reward of a healthier, more slender body, I will mail a prize for the ultimate winner.
Take a before picture (you don't have to post now) and your measurements. If you are the winner, post the before and after picture for us all to be jealous and admire.
You will write the code word “Round 3” on a piece of paper
Place this on or around the scale
Snap the picture of the paper and your weight
This is how to post your picture. Please do a practice one so that you are ready for the contest.
1) I use photobucket, upload the photo there
2) copy the IMG code
3) paste onto MFP
4) change the capital IMG to lowercase img
If you want to quit the game, please just don't weigh in. You can either PM me – or – post on the thread when you see that most of the people have already weighed in. We want to keep the game going and the motivation up. If we know someone is quitting; then, we feel "safe" and that doesn't help us with our goals.
You have one week from tomorrow to notify me of any weeks that you may miss. I will keep track of them. I will let you know when to weigh in

I guess it depends when you are eliminated :laugh:
There will be between 18 and 21 people with 2 second chance comebacks. So, I'm thinking we will be it will be betwen 20 and 23 weeks. I think there might be 2 double eliminations if there are 21 people. It will take us thru the holidays. :sad:

Wow, I haven't been on this site in WEEKS! Say nothing about how I've been eating and NOT exercising. :noway: We were busy all of last month moving to our new house - I LOVE IT!! But I hate what it's done to me and the scale. YIKES! It's time to say "SEE YA" to August, and get back on track, thanks to this awesome competition! PLEASE don't laugh at my weigh-in tomorrow, as you'll see just how much I've gained over the last month. It's horrifying. :sick: But, I'm here to win, so watch my numbers drop each week! :drinker: Let's do this, people!!!

There is a chance I maybe gone for a few days sometime in October, I think near the end. Sorry I can't be more specific. My manager mentioned a training near the end of October he may send me to in Albany, NY. I haven't been given the dates yet. My last trip he sent me on I found out on a Friday that I was leaving Monday. :grumble: I think I'll have more notice this time, but I'm not sure.

I will have teams after weigh-in. That way if someone does not weigh in, I won't have to change the teams. They are drawn randomly by my daughter who for some reason likes to do it.

I was 153.8 this morning... gained a pound since the contest ended in August. I've had a few lushy nights. Definately needed them. LIke when we didn't have power this last friday. Oi. Drinking by candlelight and flashlight.
I'm ready to get back on track! Switching to mornings work outs really blows though. UGH!0
