Candy

Got a nice surprise today. I thought I really wanted a Turtle (carmel, pecans) So I bought one package with a 3 in it. I figured one craving would be OK since I have been really good. I ate one this afternoon and it was way too sweet. I found I don't like the sweet stuff anymore. That is a real boost knowing even if I wanted to eat candy, I wouldn't like it. So that helps keep temptation away.

Anyone else experience this?

  • Well Cynusps, you seem to be on your own on this one. I, too, still carry a wicked sweet tooth. But, I think it's great that you don't have to fight that temptation anymore. Even small victories are still victories and they all lend themselves towards your goal!

I'm with you. I do not have a sweet tooth at all. I went to the state fair for a full on "I don't care about calories" day. I barely had one milkshake and couldn't even look at another sweet food stand the rest of the day.
  • I'm like this with certain sweets - mostly processed sweets. I tried eating a hostess snack and was horrified by how disgusting I find it now. It was really nice.

However, I can't seem to shake my want for salty things like chips. Waah.
