I'm sad.........
Ok.......so yesterday, I decided to walk my dog. We got to the end of a Cul De Sac, and there were two puppies standing there staring at me. At first, I thought nothing of it. Just thought the neighbors got new puppies. They ran up to me and I leaned over to pet them. So cute :bigsmile: Then I heard the neighbor lady yelling "If you want em you can keep em. Some man dropped em off two days ago and they've been running around out here" They looked at me like ---> So I couldn't leave em. I picked em up and carried em home :bigsmile: I gave them both baths, fed them, gave them dewormer pills, made them a little bed with an old blanket, laid some newspaper down, and blocked them in our kitchen. :bigsmile: They are just so cute and adorable but we already have a rottie and live in a subdivision. There's just not enough room for them :brokenheart: :sad: :sad: So I came to work today and found homes for them. I'm kind of sad we have to part them....they've been through so much together. Poor little things had cuts all over them. Stupid idjuts...how do you just leave two little cute puppies on the road somewhere I snuggled with them for a while last night before I went to bed They are so well behaved for being only 8-10 weeks old and so sweet. They just laid on their beds all night and didn't get into anything. And the only place they went potty is on the newspaper. Anyhow I found them both homes at work today. And the guy that took the female just left with her And the male was crying so I brought him over by my desk and put him in his box and the guy that's taking him just took him over by his desk. :sad: :sad: :sad: :sad: I already got attached :sad: :sad: :sad: :sad: But at least I found them both good homes and I told them both that if it doesn't work out to let me know and I'll take them back and find them homes again :bigsmile: Maybe I'll keep em :bigsmile: :laugh: J/K I can't Anyhow that's the story. Here's Some pics (I couldn't really get good pics my camera on my phone stinks :grumble: }

That was a really sweet thing you did numero uno. Who knows what might have happened to them if the were just left there? They needed you and you were there for them and for someone to just dump them. :explode:
I think you finally earned your wings.:drinker:0 -
The most expensive puppy is the one you got for free! Good for you to be a good foster mommy, and take care of them, and even find them homes! Too cute, must be Labs or lab mixes?0
-
Aww!!!! I can't believe anyone could just abandon cuteness like that.
Creeps.
Anyway, at least you know they're some where safe now instead of them being out on the street!!0 -

Thx.....I can't believe people. I mean you can drop them off at the Humane Society. Why would you drop them in the middle of a road in a subdivision when it's cold outside and just leave them???? :explode: They're only like 8-10 weeks old :brokenheart: Poor little babies
But yes these peopl will spoil them rotten and I work with them every day so at least I can get updates and pictures and stuff :drinker:0 -

I think mainly labs but mixed because they both have white spots on them. So adorable :flowerforyou:0 -
You made me cry. That is so good of you, it is nice to know there are good people around. :drinker:0

Oh yes....and good people too. The one has a big farm with horses and stuff. And the other one has a son so he'll get to play alot. So it's all good. Just tough to say goodbye to such sweet little innocent babies. :frown: I just don't understand some people. They were probably so scared out there all alone with only each other :frown:0 -

Yes it does...but I should demand visitation rights
:laugh:0 -
awh, you did the right thing huni
i wish there were people out there like you xxx
feel better soon huni :flowerforyou:0 -
It is just beyond ridiculous that someone would just dump puppies off somewhere when there are other safe options...like the humane society. I am steaming mad right now that someone would do that to two helpless animals. Thank God for you!
I know that it is sad to give them away, but you are wise in the fact that two more to your family is too much! Most people do NOT make smart decisions when it comes to animals and you should feel good about the fact that you did!0 -

Thanks...I know it would not be good to keep them now. We just can't do it. But they were just so sweet and warm and cuddly I was just told they'd bring in pics and I could come visit any time  :drinker:0 -

Well done you :flowerforyou: I would like to find the owner of the mother of the pups as more than likely he won't have her neutered and six months down the line he may be doing the same thing again but this time they may not have a guardian angel  on their doorstep.
"Life may not be the party we hoped for:grumble: :noway: but while we are here we might as well dance!:drinker :blushing:"0 -
You are so sweet.
And thanks for mentioning the Humane Society...I volunteer for my local Humane Society and it is so frustrating when we get in puppies that have been dumped.
You are such a shweetiepie!!! :smooched:0 -

I know it's sad and it happens all the time. It took me 15 minutes when I got to work to have a handful of people tell me they would take one. It wasn't that tough :grumble:
Thanks.....I love animals and could never leave them like that :brokenheart: :flowerforyou:0 -

Not a problem. We've gotten puppies from there before. It's a no kill shelter and I wouldn't have taken them to any other place. Of course pups like that wouldn't have problems finding a home. They have worms but I gave them a pill so hopefully that'll do the trick. The guy that took the male said he's taking his to the vet tomorrow for shots so I'm sure they'll take care of that. And they seem to be really scratchy. I didn't see flees but being outside for two-three days it's hard to say what they got into. I saw scabs and scratches on them to. I gave them a bath but not sure what the problem was with them. They had hair missing in some spots. I'm sure they'll be fine. They've been fed so they weren't malnourished or anything. I guess they just didn't want the burden anymore so they dropped em off. So sad. Some people just don't care or they just don't think. They think if they drop them off someone will take them in. Well I did, but it took three days before I found them and no one else did anything with the poor little guys. I just don't get people. Humane Society will take them. It irritates me to no end :explode: I watch animal cops sometimes and get soooooo upset and irritated. Mean mean people....these animals are helpless and don't get to choose their lives they depend on us to take care of them. And no matter how bad you are to them they still love u :brokenheart:
Anywho...I did my good deed for the week. It feels good :drinker:
Hey there pretty lady :smooched: Hope ya had a good New Years Eve and hope you have a wonderful New Year :flowerforyou: :drinker:
And God bless you for volunteering your time. I get too attached I don't know if I could do it. I've only had them for not even a full 24 hours and I'm upset :laugh:0 -
Cutest. Puppies. Ever! I can see how you would get attached so quickly! I'm glad you found them homes with your co-workers. We have a cat here at work that we found on campus as a kitten and no one wanted to (or could) take her home, so she ended up living upstairs in our big break room because we all got attached to her and didn't want to give her up. Most spoiled rotten thing ever! (she wasn't dumped, we have some wild cats around that sometimes abandon their little ones....) You'll have fun listening to the new owners tell stories about those 2 cuties!0
