Hi,I'm a 36 yr. old woman and I want to know how many carbs should i consume on a daily bases for weight loss :wink: ?I want to loose around 20 pounds and I'm 5"5. and I weigh 135. What is a healthy weight for me? :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile:

    Hi and welcome!

    Carbs are good and necessary... for weight loss, focus on calories while eating a balanced diet.

    Whole grains and fruits/veggies are all carbs, but they are primarily complex carbohydrates with lots of good vitamins and minerals, so you definitely want to eat a good amount of those.

    The simple carbs you want to avoid are any refined sugars, white breads, high-fructose corn syrup, etc.
