Starting again: a member for a month, then sick for a week

To old and new friends, supporters:

I have been away for a while (10 days+) -- well since late August when I became sick. Then I used the sickness to slack off especially with eating. I forgot about how the water would fill me up and prevent me from overeating. After I recovered, I ignored the diet and went back to old lifestyle of eating and drinking whatever I wanted; enjoying light exercise at the country club (golfing does not a big calorie burner; sitting around a pool drinking and eating is not either).

So for those of you that fall off the wagon, it is best to realize it quickly and just start again. I plan to ease back into it -- water, balanced diet, vitamins, walking workout 15-30 minutes and some upper body weight training 15 minutes. I have a big dinner planned for Thursday and Friday, but I will try to stay on track.

I am back and going to ease back into the MFP prescription.
