    Heels themselves are 50/50 some people like them, others not, but the effect they have is 100% sexy because of the muscles involved walking in heels vs walking in flats your legs not only look longer, but more toned and your *kitten* looks more pert.

    I not only think they are hot, but those are very tasteful as well. I love the color too! I wear high heels all the time, even to the grocery store...love them.

    Only if a woman knows how to WALK in them. If a woman can't walk right in them and / or has poor posture they look ridiculous.

    I think they're hot BUT I'm 5'9 w/o them. Nowadays, heels are 5 inches high. I cannot wear those w/o feeling a bit amazonish, which isn't a bad thing I suppose except when you tower over everybody else.

    I know, I have a hard time with it... my bf is the EXACT same height that I am. HE LOVES heels... but going out in public like that? With me SO much taller than he is? That just feels wrong! And makes me feel.... amazonish? lol

    My boyfriend & I are both 6 feet, he's actually about a 1/4 inch shorter than me. He loves heels, but he feels weird with me towering 3 inches over him, I'm allowed 2 inch heels LOL

    LOVE HEELS! I'm 6ft, and I think they look super-sexy. My husband is 6 ft as well, and he loves it when I wear them. I like my butt, and think they make it look even better! I don't worry about looking like an amazon, I just enjoy it! :wink:

    I think his favorite are my black leather boots with 3" heels...

    You clearly haven't seen me, wobbling around like a drunk, on heels. :laugh: I hate shoes so I wear them as little as possible and heels are something I NEVER wear.

    Ok..self conscious as I am....true opinion on those of us with no ankles who would like to wear heals but feel that we shouldn't? So the dreaded CANKLE question..what can we do about it..

    I've only ever had one boyfriend who didn't like me in heels and that's because he was 5'7". I was taller than him in heels, so he felt insecure. He also tried to tame me into a demure little lady. That guy didn't last more than a few months. I needed a real man who could handle me and my heels.

    Though hot, I could deal with it if women didn't wear them because I know how hard on the feet and toes they can be. I've met many a female whose toes and feet are jacked up because of heels. It's great if you can wear them with no problems though.

    I'm going on a cruise in starting this Sunday with my cousin and her hub. She's several inches shorter than me and she's all into the stripper heels. I do plan to give her some competition though. So we shall see how I feel. My heels are usually less than 4 inches though.

    For work I wear flats. :ohwell: At least I know I'm not alone in the tall-self-concious-in-high-heels group.

    Never been able to wear heels of any sort cos of balance problems & foot ops :sad: Heels are certainly more elegant & kudos to those who can wear them AND be able to walk properly

    Yep. At my height, they're pretty much a requirement (5'4). Love mine.

    Ditto on the need them front. I don't often wear them because I have the grace of a differently abled lemur. I am currently wearing a pair and hoping I don't break my neck today...
