Good 'ol Soda

Simple fact about soda
“On average Americans drink about 150 quarts per year,” aka 37.5 gallons! “An 8oz soda has about 120 calories”, says the LA Times. That is 576190.946 calories! That means Americans drink about 165 lbs worth of calories per year! Wow, makes it easy to understand why,”68 percent of Americans were found to be overweight while close to 34 percent were obese.”
My tip: understand how to read labels to see through the “BS”, living healthy is such a challenge in our society.

Cutting soda out of my diet was one of the easiest and healthiest things I've done. I was craving a Coke and since my husband had one I took a drink. I hadn't one in a couple of weeks and it didn't taste nearly as refreshing as I'd expected. My brain still thinks I want one but my body is much happier with water or a sparkling juice drink.
