Hi! New Person On Board!

Hello, I am new here, am 53, female, and am hoping to lost 30 pounds. I was always very active, walked 4 to 6 miles a day, but some years back several things happened, menopause, loss of a job, and an ill parent all kind of happened, and then too I started having some pain and weakness in my feet and ankles. The biggest thing was breaking my ankle severely last September, and spending 3 months pretty much in a wheelchair, and very limited walking, which is pretty much permanent. Iost my job because of this, and am still unemployed, so sticking to a diet is tough. I hope to get support and encouragement here.
