    So a 1 lb loss, I am staying consistent! Really wanted more but there it is!!!!

    Right what you think of this idea - a push up/press up(UK) challenge - so I thought see how many you can do counting to fatigue each day - you could do box version, half (girly) or hard core full.!!!!!!

    You can do different push ups too - so wide arms, narrow arms (triceps) or 12/3 where you have one hand at 12 (on the clock) and the other at 3 then switch, you can switch every one or every 5 etc.

    See how many you can do and try to build on it - My challenge will be to do full, even if I can do 2 by the end of the week I will be so pleased.
    If you have never done push ups before and they scare you then you can be really proud if you get out 10 in a row by firday :)
    Google the different styles if you have never done it before. Don't forget to pul your tummy button in as this is a core workout as well as upper body.

    Does this sound ok? Tell me if it is too much?

    Brilliant :) well done girls mega spirit! Let's post what we can do tomorrow is it? It is 10:30pm for me here - so do them to fatigue - I just can't do another in the hardest style you can do. I am going to do as many half as I can do and first try how many full.
    Don't forget about those tummy muscles :)

    So I did mine tonight, I did 20 half and getting the 20th out was so hard. In terms of my own personal goal I found full press ups very hard, I could barely do one.

    Sure is quiet around here....................

    Well, boo. I didn't hit my goal of being 215 today, but I am 216.4, which is a 2.2 lb loss from last Friday.... so I can't be TOO disappointed!!! I am very pleased with that in just one week.

    I'm so glad it's Friday!! Hope everyone is having a fabulous day so far and I can't wait for everyone to check in today with their losses! Whoop!

    YOU ARE DOING FANTASTIC KATE....I GAINED 2 POUNDS AND HAVENT BUDGED.....I DID MANAGE TO GET 2 FULL PUSH UPS DONE CORRECTLY LAST NIGHT....ITS A START I GUESS.

    I was thinking everyone was quiet - thought I had put everyone off with the press ups! No training today and tomorrow for me, but back to the fulls after that. I had No progress this week - grr, but on the up side the doc is sending me for bloods to see why I feel so tired al the time. Have a great weekend

    So I bashed out 25 half press ups this morning, 5 more than the first time I tried and did 3 full, my trainer gae some advice of doing 5 half and then 1 full and repeat - to try to strengthen - then when I feel I can do 5 half and 2 full and so on!

    Thats a great idea Carol!!!

    So what to do for this weeks Challenge? I say we keep the push ups!! but lets add......or we can do a combo of every challenge so far....for our last week of September

    It would be burn 350 calories a day 20 JJ's 20 (each leg) lunges, Push ups and on Wed, burn 450 calories and double everything else??? What do you think?

    Ok so I wanted to check in with everyone and see how many pounds you have lost since Sept 1. I have gone from 222 to 215 which means I have 3 days to lose 3 pounds to meet my goal. Yeah... as much as I hate being negative, that's not going to happen. :cry: I knew 10 pounds in 1 month was a pretty agressive goal, but maybe 7-8 lbs a month agrees with my body better.

    What about everyone else????

    I will only have lost 3lb in sept - 3 .... 3 I ask you. I have literally worked my butt off and 3 lb :(

    On the positive I have realised my badge says 20lb lost!!!!! In 95 days. In addition my ticker has 1 lb to go to my first target.

    I don't see why not! I kind of like it being close knit with just a few members. I feel more connected!

    Random check-in: 211.4 this morning. I was 213 on Oct 1 so I'm down 1.6 lbs so far in 5 days. I'll take that! :) Goal is 205 by Halloween which would be an 8 lb loss for October.

    I like it because of that too Kate! I weighed sunday and was 224lb, and am not allowed to weigh till tuesday and I am determined to stick to it! Prior to this I weighed everyday, nightmare! Hoping it will be good. Even if it is not I have learnt lots about my diet and how to change it.
