So, who WOULDN'T walk more when they have lovely scenes like THIS to look at! These are pictures from yesterday morning from my hometown - Duluth MN. Pretty nice, huh? Guess I should get my butt out MORE to see these sites!!!!

Hmmm, really tried to post individual pics here from my Photobucket account, but it wouldn't work! I know how to DO it, but they kept coming up with a weird message. Anyhooo, here's a link to my pics from yesterday :)

My Nana & Papa lived in Grand Marais. We could see Lake Superior from the porch and they had a cabin up at Clearwater. We went there many summers when I was a kid. Absolutely beautiful for a Southern California girl. I'm jealous, haven't been there in about 15 years.

Spent the week-end in Orr on Pelican Lake. The colors are just starting to turn. I can't wait to see them in central MN. By St. John's Abby in Collegeville they are breathtaking in the fall. We do live in God's country.

lucky you. I live in Seattle and have to say the views of the Olympic mountains and Cascades are breathtaking and feel fortunate to live in such a beautiful city.

My sister lives near Tacoma (in Fife).......I have 5 sisters, and we all went out to her place about 2 years ago for our annual "Sister's Retreat". It was amazing........really beautiful weather. We visited Seattle: the Market and Mt Reiner and The Needle - lots of shopping and walking and having fun! Loved it!
