I'm in school 5 hours a night, 4 nights a week (5:30-10:30). I don't have access to a fridge, but I have a thermal lunchbox with an icepack. I do have access to a microwave.

What would YOU bring with you, if you were in my shoes? I'm rotating the same foods and I need ideas!

Sandwhiches, I use 35 calorie white bread =) maybe p&j?
Subway? If they have a microwave you could bring speghetti, etc
snack would be sugar free jello (only 5 calories) or vegis with dip. you can get a big bag that has a bunch of small bags of chips in it for under so many calories of each bag
    Water (with flavor packets)

Make a little extra when you cook something and save it for your school meals. Everything will be still safe to eat if it's less than 7 days old and stays under 40 degrees, longer if you freeze stuff.

I agree with making extra on nights you cook and saving it for school meals. I do that all the time. I also like taking progresso soups. I pour it in a microwave tupperware container before I leave, and can microwave and eat at school. I also like to take salsa and chips. They are great for munching on while reading.
Salads are easy, and veggie wraps, too. just keep the dressing on the side so it doesn't get all soggy.
Oh an my backpack is always stocked with a couple granola bars or trail mix packages for a quick snack if I get too hungry before of after I can sit down to eat.
