Stone vs. Pounds
So after seeing so many people use "stone" as a unit of measurement, I had to go look it up. Now please don't go chalk me up as an "ignorant American". I lived in China, I've been to the Middle East, and Europe. I've seen most of the world and respect everyone's culture and faith because--frankly it's none of my business. I just never knew what a stone equal.
Anyway end rant.
I worked out that I weigh about 13 stone and I want to weight about 10 stone. And it makes me smile that in this system all I have to lose is 3 stone--which seems like a smaller number than 40 pounds. I know my brain is deceiving me but I like saying "3 stone" is all I have to lose better. Seems more attainable.
Just thought I'd share the giggle I had.
