He reminds me of the dog my brother used to have. He named him Sentry because he was a guardian. I always loved that name for a shepherd because they really are great loyal guardians.

I have always named my pets within a couple minutes of meeting them. We meet, I make eye contact, and the first name that comes to my head is what they get. Here's what I've had (just the boys):

    Dogs: Luke
    Rats: Aries, Mars, Zeus, Asher
    Bunnies: Benny
    Cats: Loki, Xander, Oscar, Neigel

Those are all pets from a while back. I currently have a 2 yr old female beagle/jack russell rescue named Margo. :)

    Baron is pretty sweet name.

I saw him and thought a J name would be great, why did Jett fail? He's badass. Sometimes it takes a while to get used to the sound of a name.

You can always fall back on 'soda' or 'seven' ;)
Yeah, Jett was our first choice, but after a while, it really didn't seem to fit for some reason. I love the character though. But that whole show is epic.

We named our dog based on his color: Carmel. He is a red merle aussie. It was a toss up between Carmel, Cinnamon or Flash because he has a white streak down his chest that is soft as can be.
Since he is a german shep mix something like: Mocha

I'm a veterinarian, here are some of the coolest names I've heard recently:

    Titan
    Kimo
    Optimus
    Napali
    Mr. Cooper

And my dog's name is General Frankenstein!

What a cutie you have, don't forget to start his vaccines between 6-8 weeks! :)
