circuit training

Yesterday was my first day with circuit training.(Wow, I'm sore this morning!) I know with strength training exercises you need to have a rest day in between to allow your muscles to recuperate.

Do I need a rest day in between circuit training days as well?

    I'm no expert- but I understand that yes, you need either a rest day or a day working different muscle groups. I think especially if you are sore!

    It all depends on you...sometimes getting right back on the saddle is what you need. First time is going to be sore because you are using muscles that you have not used before. So elliptical or a cardio would be fine and it will stretch as you move. Good luck!

    I don't, but I concentrate on a different muscle group every day. I rest one day a week, but do an hour of stretches the day before.

    I go by muscle groups, so my legs rest while I do arms and back.
