Problems Getting It Up

Maybe if someone was talking really nicely while they are spotting you that would give you the motivation needed to get those heavy things up....
Nice, definitely getting some great strategies here. Having my spotters saying motivational things to me would definitely help. Maybe if I had some videos on in the background too. It's always motivational to see other people doing their routines, and I could study their form to make sure I don't hurt myself. This is awesome, with everyone's great advice I am sure I will be getting it up very soon.
videos are always nice...I've learned some of my best moves from videos...very informative!0 -
Wow taking notes. Where can I find a spotter? Should I post an ad on Craiglist????0

I've seen some of those ads on Craigslist...you may get more than just a "spotter" lol0 -
To me, 10 lbs. is a pretty significant jump in dumbell weight. I bought an inexpensive set of adjustable weight (20+20=40 lb. total)dumbells on-line. They work great for me as I can add as little as (1.5 lb x 2) 3 lb increments as I go up.0
