I watched it... I liked that we actually have some big girls on tv, it's nice to see someone to relate to on one of those shows. I am however surprised they aren't talking about the health risks with being big. I know we want everyone to feel good about themselves and be comfortable in their own skin, but I think ignoring the health risks that come along with being overweight isn't safe.

I think it's kind of cute, but it also glamorizes obesity. Not a fan.

Saw a few minutes last night.
Seems like it could be a cute show. They can make a show about anything nowadays though LOL
I like that it shows another perspective.

The one girl works out and eats healthy (so she says) to maintain her weight to be a model.

I agree with above posts. It's great that these girls aren't ashamed of themselves and rock the confidence, but they aren't just overweight, they are OBESE. That means they are very unhealthy and should be trying to lose weight for health reasons and not vanity. I think it is wrong to glamorize a problem that is slowly killing more and more Americans everyday.

couldn't the same be said for just about any hollywood tv show or movie glamorizing people being below a healthy weight?

i saw a commercial for the show and a small piece of an episode last night. one of the girls they were talking to, i think she was a model, mentioned being concerned about how her weight was effecting her health.

Yeah, I watched it. I was curious.

Honestly? I think these girls aren't as comfortable being big as they want us to think they are. I don't think they are as confident as they are trying to say they are.

I'm not saying you can't be big, beautiful and confident. What I'm saying is ... it seems these women preach happiness at being big, but in reality... they aren't nearly as happy.

That was the impression I got too.

Initially I was excited about a show that has large and average sized women in and showing them as confident and beautiful. Afterall most shows only have the underweight present, so that's a nice change. But it seems the show is mostly about their size and not much about their other aspects of their lives (EG they talk about how they are all in fashion, but the show doesn't cover much into their careers, what they do, etc - its all focused on their size and their trouble with dating)

I've been really small in the past, and larger than I am now. I've always been hit on by good looking guys and size didn't seem to be an issue to them. I think that men appreciate a woman who is fun, flirty and comfortable in her own skin far more than what size her clothing tags read.

Watching the girls lack of self-confidence and heartbreak at being rejected by men who are losers is not so great to watch.
I'm not sure I'll keep watching....
