Working Women Trix to getting in/out of the gym

I figure that there have to be a bunch of you who have mastered getting in and out of the gym before and/or after work. Yes I'm sure guys have good ideas and they're welcome here too - but frankly many guys don't have the challenges with getting dressed for work that we women do!
Here's what I've learned to help get to the gym at six AM -
1. Sleep in my workout clothes (minus the bra) - sounds extreme but it's amazing how much faster things move!
2. Pick out and pack work outfit the night before.
3. Rent a locker at the gym if you can - it's $15 a month at mine and after 20 days of using it OMG it's worth it! I keep my shower stuff in there and my HRM and MP3 player, shower shoes, makeup and lotion etc - a lot less to haul back and forth!
4. COOL DOWN before hitting the showers to help slow down the sweating issues.
5. Getting out of a wet swim suit is easier if you pull the first arm down inside the suit rather than trying to pull at tankini up over your head!
6. I wear my wet suit into the shower so I can get out of it in private (its worth a video I admit - as i panic half way out) and while I'm in the shower I rinse out the suit so it's fresh before running it through the wringer.
7. Wait for makeup - I put on a little eye liner and lipstick in the car before going into my office but I'm still hot and sweaty (usually) so I don't put on more than that at the gym.
8. Roll your work clothes when packing them to minimize wrinkles.
9. Keep fruit in the car for a quick post workout snack - an apple does wonders! I keep pre-workout breakfasts to a minimum like a spoon full of peanut butter.
What tricks have you learned to make this easier?

I pack my bag and lay my gym clothes out the night before.
Pack my gym bag work clothes, towel and flip flops, everything I need during class so that it's layered in the order I need it.
I keep make up in my desk drawer and put on my make up later
I put product in my bag and wear my hair curly and pulled back on gym days
I boil a dozen eggs every Sunday and the fam and I eat them when needed through the week. On gym mornings I eat 2 hb eggs, string cheese, a slice of bread, all packed into a baggie the night before for easy grab and go.0 -
Haha, I couldn't help but chuckle about "panciking" when getting out of the wetsuit. I've never worn one but I would do the same thing I think.
I make sure to pack something for work that is light, like a short sleeve shirt. Even in the winter when my office is cold, on gym days I have to wear something cool since I'm often still sweating and/or the lockerroom is hot after the shower.
I highly recommend sleeping in work out clothes, throw on your bra and run out the door. I wear flip flops to the gym so I don't have to take time putting on socks and shoes (for some reason putting them on in the lockerroom seems quicker) and then I already have flip flops there to wear in the shower and around the lockerroom.0 -
I workout after work but I always pack my gym bag with my workout clothes, HRM and makeup remover before work. I never have a problem getting to the gym when I go straight there after work...if I have to go home to change my likelihood of making it back out of the house drops dramatically!! I've tried the morning workouts but I just can't seem to get my butt out of bed in time.0

I'm bumping this as I KNOW that there are lots of you out there who have to have tricks you can share!
Today my challenge was getting tights over damp legs. I dried off after the shower and put on lotion and the locker room is so humid it was impossible to get my tights on. So I'm sitting here at the office with a tweed skirt, bare legs and brown loafers. I feel awkward but I'm guessing no one (other than the other women) is noticing.
In our office, about half the women are middle management or up - and of them probably 75% wear hose with skirts and suits. I really hate wearing hose and go bare legged in the summer, and wear warmer tights in the winter.0
